Entrepreneurship and Innovation specialization equips students with the tools and concepts necessary for careers as entrepreneurs or as investors in entrepreneurial ventures. The recent flux of success stories of entrepreneurs who have hit headlines with the multi-million valuations of their firms have put the spotlight on the benefits of starting an own venture.
 
The specialization of entrepreneurship and innovation prepares the entrepreneurially-minded students with a valuable understanding of what it is like to work in venture capital, private equity, social entrepreneurship and small businesses. This course is targeted at those who are active in, or intend to enter, the entrepreneurship field. Study areas include opportunity discovery and evaluation, creativity and innovation, finance, entrepreneurial marketing, corporate and contemporary challenges in entrepreneurship and innovation.

PG : 2 Years
The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master’s degree are holding a bachelor's degree. Students will have to attend an entrance exam such as MAT/CAT/XAT or ATMA to get admitted into this course.

Entrepreneurs are usually the job creators and they help others realize their dreams while achieving their own. With entrepreneurship and innovation, careers are only limited by an individual's vision. Career opportunities include everything from starting your own company to working in the development of new business opportunities within existing companies.
 
There is no fixed earning cap for entrepreneurs and it is up to their potential and the value of their business that would fetch the big bucks. There have been cases of companies and products like Whatsapp or Youtube or Slideshare which started out as small ventures and went on to make it big with acquisitions and mergers with top players. 
 
If the graduates want to go the corporate work way, professionals can earn around Rs 40,000 to 65,000 every month or more depending on work experience and ability. Postgraduate students from reputed management schools can earn handsome salary in the field of business development. Usually, the entrepreneurship graduates work as business development specialists in areas such as technology commercialization, business consulting, product development, and business finance.
